Camillus House

Camillus House was founded in 1960 by the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd at the request of the Archdiocese of Miami. At the time, Miami was dealing with a large immigration of Cuban refugees with nowhere to go. What began as an overnight shelter has been steadily growing and adapting as Miami has grown and changed throughout the years.


CareerSource Broward

CareerSource Broward (CSBD), the administrative entity of the Broward Workforce Development Board (BWDB), is a federally-funded, locally-controlled organization providing numerous services to employers and job seekers in Broward County. These services are delivered through three one-stop centers.


Miami Rescue Missions

Reaching out to the least, the last, and the lost by empowering men, women, and children to become successful in life; reuniting families, restoring lives, building new futures, and serving South Florida since 1922.


Miami-Dade C.O.R.E.

In partnership with the White House's Center for Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships, Miami-Dade County's Office of Emergency Management kicked-off MIAMI-DADE C.O.R.E. (Communities Organized to Respond in Emergencies), a first-of-its-kind program designed to better engage faith-based and community organizations in planning, responding to and recovering from disasters.


Community Access Center (CAC)

The mission of Community Access Center (CAC) is to assist individuals and families with access to culturally competent, cost effective social and clinical services to ensure their needs are met and improve their quality of life.


Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami

Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami, Inc., provides specialized mental health services for families by focusing on the prevention and treatment of emotional trauma to foster resiliency in children from infancy through adolescence. FCS believes that a strong family unit provides children with a sense of belonging and a critical sense of value and gives them a vital network for social support.

Breast Cancer Partner

Breast Cancer Partner is a sanctuary for breast cancer survivors who are nearing the end of treatment or who are on their journey to recovery. We strive to support, inspire and empower survivors to live strong and healthy lives after treatment ends. Our goal is to help shepherd survivors through the recovery process by providing information, resources, guidance and tools to effectively deal with life post-treatment.


Solid Rock Enterprise, Inc. (Neighborhood Accountability Board (NAB)

In June 2004, Solid Rock Enterprise, Inc., a Restorative Justice Academy was launched to offer student victims, youthful offenders, at-risk children, and youth, alternatives in dealing with juvenile crime and victimization at a school level - as opposed to referrals to the juvenile justice system. Solid Rock collectively has over 60 years experience and expertise to include restorative justice practices, conflict reconciliation, and peer mediation, victim sensitivity, behavior science, parent leadership training, program evaluation, education, consulting, and peer reviewer for the Office Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention.


Florida Children and Families (DCF)/Broward and Miami-Dade Counties

The ACCESS Florida Program is responsible for public assistance eligibility determination and ongoing case management of Food Assistance, Temporary Cash Assistance and Medicaid. The Food Assistance Program helps low-income individuals and families buy the food they need for good health. The Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) Program provides short-term cash benefits to families with children under the age of 18, or under age 19 if full time secondary school students, as well as pregnant women during in their last trimester. Medicaid provides medical coverage to low income individuals and families through a variety of eligibility categories. Income and asset limits vary based on the eligibility category.


Florida KidCare

Through Florida KidCare, the state of Florida offers health insurance for children from birth through age 18, even if one or both parents are working.


AIDS Healthcare Foundation

Los Angeles-based AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is a global organization providing cutting-edge medicine and advocacy to over 100,000 people in 22 countries. It is the nation’s largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care. A truly independent voice in our mission to rid the world of HIV/AIDS, AHF’s operating capital comes from our own self-created social enterprises. AHF Pharmacies, thrift stores, health care contracts and other strategic partnerships generate funding that helps AHF provide medical and advocacy services to the thousands of people it serves.


211 Switchboard

Switchboard counsels, connects and empowers people in need. Through their suicide prevention programs, information and referral contact center, and crisis counseling and wellness services. Switchboard serves as both a first point of assistance and a last resource for people in need.


Dismas Charities

Dismas Charities gives men and women being released from state and federal incarceration the skills and motivation to re-enter society as contributing members. The work of Dismas is to end the cycle of victimization and to heal the human spirit.


Broward Outreach

Helping men, women, and children with meals, safe shelter, and life-changing residential programs resulting in transformed lives. The passion of Broward Outreach is to follow the Lord Jesus Christ's great commission by serving others.


Hands On Broward

Hands on Broward inspires, equips and mobilizes people to take action to positively effect change in Broward County. Hands On Broward offers a flexible volunteering model that makes volunteering more convenient.


RJT Foundation-Women Supporting Families of Murdered Children

RJT Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) recognized non-profit organization reaching out to families who have endured the pain of losing a child as a result of a violent act of crime.


Humane Society of Broward County

The Humane Society of Broward County provides shelter, aid and responsible adoptions of animals entrusted to our care, and educates the community about respect and kindness to all animals.

South Broward High

(SBHS) is a Marine Science Magnet school located in the Royal Poinciana neighborhood of Hollywood, Florida. The school is a part of the Broward County Public Schools district. It is the second oldest high school established in Broward County, after Fort Lauderdale High School and was effectively the only public school to serve the southern half of the county. The school's athletic teams are known as the Bulldogs. The school offers a wide range of extracurricular and athletic activities. It is one of the more ethnically and socioeconomically diverse high schools in Florida, providing an accurate demographic sample of the city of Hollywood as a whole.
