Who We are

The founder of Family in Distress envisioned a place where people could seek comfort and caring beyond the traditional boundaries of shame, or distress. The resources offered address life's many challenges, ranging from support for cancer survivors and their families, encouraging and caring for the homeless, and working with and providing for individuals and families during times they cannot otherwise provide for themselves.

Family In Distress partners with several major organizations dedicated to community and social responsibility. Our pledge is to work critically within the community and provide an opportunity to connect and share with others who are dealing with circumstances of need. Family In Distress will work within the community to help families of all ages, races, faiths, backgrounds, abilities, and income levels to deliver quick response, and address social needs.

In addition, to keep our commitment to aid those in need, we partner with individuals who are skilled in conflict analysis, and human behavior. Our services promise to strengthen individual personal values, self esteem and character. Our unique methods will assist families in building stronger unity in the home, and the community because we work to engage and build the spiritual, mental and physical well being of the individual.
